The Department of Orthopedic Surgery at St. Vincent’s Hospital (Catholic University of Korea) has implemented remoBody S as an objective measurement tool for evaluating the effectiveness of foot and ankle treatments.
The research team leveraged the high-precision data from remoBody S to track changes in hip and ankle joint angles pre- and post-treatment. Specifically, they successfully digitized the recovery process, showing how joint angles returned to normal ranges during gait in patients who previously struggled with incomplete weight-bearing.
These research findings were presented at prestigious domestic and international conferences, including the 33rd Annual Congress of the Korean Foot and Ankle Society (2023) and IFFAS (2024). This case underscores the high reliability and clinical precision that remoBody S’s markerless technology provides in orthopedic settings.
